Create it.
Creating your dance portraits starts with looking show ready. Based on your wardrobe and style, our makeup artist will help you create a look that will looking stunning on camera. As we create your images, we will work at your pace making sure you are safe as you dance. As we work together we will review your images to make sure the angles of your movement are just right.

Ordering only the portraits you love means you will get the exact pose and image looks best. Heirloom quality products are available because your final images should look as beautiful as your images.

Hi, I’m Marisa
I’m a local photographer, based here in Hollister, CA. I have been photographing Hollister dance students for 5 years now. With my two daughters in dance, I have first-hand experience seeing how committed and hard working dancers are. My aim is to highlight their very best! It brings me so much joy to be able to bring attention to their skill, technique, and passion.

There is no time limit on your session so if you would like to have costume change where different Leos you’re welcome to do so. Sessions are an average about an hour.

It is recommended that your dancer wear make up for their session.

The same care in preparation for your costume as you would if you were going on stage. If costumes need to be steamed, please do so before arriving for your session. There is a changing area and bathroom of the studio so you can put your costume on once you arrive.

Yes, please bring shoes to match your costume and the dance style in which you will be posing. All costume choices and accessories should be discussed in the consultation appointment.

The session is a collaboration. You should come with the posts that you would like to try. It’s always best to highlight skills that you are strong in.

Your choices will be edited. This will discussed in your ordering appointment. You are encouraged to specify what edits you would like.

The ordering appointment is immediately after your session. At the ordering appointment, you will choose which images you want. It will be made quickly right after.

As long as you are safe and capable of the skills, you are welcome to show off and encourage to highlight your skills.
